Today is a day filled with a sense of loss. It was just one year ago today I lost my dear friend Rachael, to breast cancer after 12 years of fighting. She beat it three time before it attacked her liver, after that she just got tired. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about her in some fashion.
We have twenty days of school left. I can not wait. I am sooo ready to be off for the summer. Hopefully this summer will be less eventful than last summer. Last summer my husband had surgery the first week I was out, then my 2ds had surgery the first week in July. I had recouperating people home all summer long.
This year I should be home alone most of the time and I am really looking forward to that.
I recently acquired a little bug called a cricut. It is a paper cutting machine that is really fun to use and makes scrapbooking and card making a breeze. Here is a picture of a card I made with my bug. The front is stamped and then water colored. On the inside, the Thanks was cut using the Cricut and the flowers and lady bugs were stamped and colored.
Can't wait for this summer to play some more!!
